EUSC BUCS squad travelled to Ponds Forge, Sheffield, to compete in the Long Course National Championships. Varsity Approaches its 10th Birthday

Swimming on the Continent!

In the closing weeks of last term, EUSC had the privilege of travelling to Karlsruhe, Germany, for their annual Sprintnacht competition, along with university teams from across Germany and Europe. Travelling too with the Bath Swimming Team, our Karlsruhe hosts provided some fantastic food and drink, before getting down to the serious business of the Friday night competition. EUSC Take BUCS By Storm

On the 14th November, the University of Exeter Swimming Club set off for their annual BUCS short course swimming competition at Ponds Forge International Pool, Sheffield. 69 universities competed over the weekend creating an overwhelming atmosphere. Big Waves to Kick Start the Year

For EUSC the new season has started better than anyone could have predicted. Following a record number of members signing up at Fresher’s Fair, St. Luke’s pool has been a very busy place. Rocksolid 2014

EUSC had 25 of its members taking part in the 10km RockSolid Race on the 15th March at Escot Park. This 10km obstacle course included 12ft walls, a cargo net, barbed wire, an ice bath, as well as a lot of mud. Everyone enjoyed their day and EUSC are looking forward to taking a big team to Escot Park next year.

Amazing achievements at Varsity for Exeter University Swimming Club

This year’s EUSC’s Varsity event was a huge success, with Exeter A Team defended their title as winners, narrowly beating their rivals Bath by 11 points. Cardiff Training Camp 2014

EUSC took away a group of highly dedicated swimmers to Cardiff International Pool from the 7-9th February 2014. This was too preparing those members of the Long Course BUCS Team for Long Course Championships and Exeter’s’ Swimming Varsity in March.
