It’s All Gone Swimmingly Well!

As we have reached the end of term, I would like to take the opportunity to wish everyone who will be leaving EUSC this year the best of luck in the future and hope that you will all stay in touch and visit regularly! A huge thank you to Sam Harvey for the outstanding job he has done as Club Captain this year and for his dedication and commitment to the club over the past three years. You will be greatly missed! Also a big thank you to this year’s committee who have been working hard to ensure that the club has functioned smoothly.

Last term was a great success, with both End of Season Dinner and Topsham being highly memorable events with impressive turnouts. Thank you to Sam Johnson and Emily Coulson for doing such a great job organising these and we look forward to many more exciting socials to come next year. Intramural rounders was also highly successful and was perfect for practicing our skills before Touch Duckes, where we entered three rounders and one touch rugby team. This was a perfect way to end the term and was an enjoyable couple of days in the sun- something we are looking to hopefully enter again next year.

Have a fantastic summer break and for those of you returning in September we have a very exciting first term planned for you!

Hi I’m Lydia, a fourth year mathematics student and your Club Captain for 2016/17. As Club Captain I am here to make sure that the club is running smoothly and to ensure that members feel welcome at all times. I have close contact with the University Athletic Union and work alongside the rest of the committee to allow for all our swimmers to receive the best possible experience and to get the most out of their time at EUSC. If you have any questions or queries please don’t hesitate to ask me at training or feel free to email me at: swimming.captain@exeter.ac.uk.
