EUSC BUCS squad travelled to Ponds Forge, Sheffield, to compete in the Long Course National Championships. The team of 18 travelled to the competition on Friday 20th February, after weeks of specific training both in and out of the pool, including a training camp in Cardiff two weeks prior to the event. Varsity Approaches its 10th Birthday

Looking ahead to this busy term, February 28th sees the return of our annual swimming varsity at Pyramids Leisure Centre, Heavitree Road. This year, all proceeds from the event will be donated to the MS Society. Swimming on the Continent!

In the closing weeks of last term, EUSC had the privilege of travelling to Karlsruhe, Germany, for their annual Sprintnacht competition, along with university teams from across Germany and Europe. Travelling too with the Bath Swimming Team, our Karlsruhe hosts provided some fantastic food and drink, before getting down to the serious business of the Friday night competition. EUSC Take BUCS By Storm

On the 14th November, the University of Exeter Swimming Club set off for their annual BUCS short course swimming competition at Ponds Forge International Pool, Sheffield. 69 universities competed over the weekend creating an overwhelming atmosphere. For EUSC the new season has started better than anyone could have predicted. Following a record number of members signing up at Fresher’s Fair, St. Luke’s pool has been a very busy place.
