Welcome to the University of Exeter Swimming Club
Training takes place at St Luke’s, Pyramids and Cornwall House pool in summer. EUSC offers 7 swimming sessions and 1 circuits session every week*, and welcomes swimmers of many different abilities. For our competitive swimmers, an exclusive squad session is provided weekly and a training camp runs once a year in preparation for BUCS. Currently, a member of the committee writes our sessions and at least one member of committee will be coaching on poolside every Tuesday, in case you’d like some advice on your technique. We are also very lucky to have Exeter City’s head coach Jo John also coaching on a Wednesday afternoon to help prepare the squad for BUCS. We compete in the British University and College Sport (BUCS) Swimming Championships in Term 1 and Term 2. We also host an annual friendly varsity in March, inviting alumni and visiting universities. Whether you are new to swimming or have always been a competitive swimmer, EUSC has something to offer, with our coach adapting training accordingly. With regular socials and a friendly atmosphere we can guarantee you’ll enjoy your time here.
